hermal analysis of WTG foundations
One of the main problems facing the current wind turbine market is the significant need for concrete for their foundations, due to the large dimensions that are necessary in some cases. This leads to high internal temperatures due to the phenomenon of hydration, and therefore potential associated problems (cracking) that can have an impact on durability and structural safety.
At MS ENERTECH we have been studying this problem for years and solving some cases of special complexity in environments in Vietnam, Azerbaijan and Spain, where the weather conditions during concreting are particularly adverse.
Due to all of the above, we have developed our own analytical tools, complemented by finite element analysis using proven commercial software, making the MS ENERTECH analysis the most reliable on the market.
We'd like to know if your foundation may be affected by this phenomenon and propose the necessary preventive or corrective measures.
